Today my guest is Matt Rose - Marketing Manager at Merlin, the digital licensing partner for the world’s leading independent record labels, distributors, and recording rights holders. Matt works on Merlin’s company-wide marketing strategy and initiatives. A working composer himself, Matt is also a fierce advocate for music creator rights and serves as a Board Member at MusicAnswers, through which he’s spoken on panels for the Association for Popular Music Education Conference and U.S. State Department Arts Envoy.

She is currently pursuing a Master of Laws at NYU School of Law where she serves as a Graduate Editor for the NYU Journal of Law & Business and as a Graduate Research Fellow at the NYU Pollack Center for Law & Business. She graduated NYU with her Master’s in Music Business in Spring 2023, after graduating with her first degree in law from the University of Geneva in Switzerland.

On today’s show, my guest is Mike Greene - Vice President of Artist & Label Services at Warner's Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA), where he oversees strategic digital marketing and audience development efforts for its Label Services partners and independent distributed labels, in addition to leading commercial relationships with TikTok, Meta, Snapchat, and YouTube.  A 13+ year music industry veteran and accomplished multi-marketer, Mike has driven campaigns for Macklemore, Ciara, Big Freedia, Central Cee, Dropkick Murphys, Peter Gabriel, Papa Roach, and more. His work on trending songs from Dixie, Dylan Conrique, and Strange Fruits Music has been featured in Business Insider, Music Ally, and led to panel appearances at the annual A2IM Indie Week conference.

Based in New York, he works as the Director of Revenue Strategy & Operations and Customer Success at Pex where he touches data, technology, process, customers and product. Prior to moving to the US, he ran a DJ mix and event series, while also working in the film/events industry as a freelance producer. In his free time Oli has built a custom GPT for RevOps, works on a record label, booking agency and loves to experiment in the kitchen.

Andrew "Nitty" Nitirouth is a recent graduate from NYU's Music Business master's program [2023]. He is a professional DJ with over 8 years of experience, having performed at over 60 venues throughout his career with several Grammy nominated and DJ Mag Top 100 artists. Additionally, he is also a music producer and audio engineer, working at Antenna Studios in Brooklyn and Studio Square Recordings in Queens. Nitty is also the Sessions Director for Anti Social Camp - the largest songwriting camp in the world based in the heart of NYC - and will be returning to camp for his third year in summer 2024.

On today's show, our guest is Jackie Paolino Gadigian - Head of Partnerships and Outreach for Mamas in Music and mom to a baby girl named Sophia. She is working on a music project called Womb, which has the intention of helping people heal from PTSD and PPD. She is also a Government Affairs Consultant  at Nushama Wellness and currently helping them expand into the state of Rhode Island and lobbying for their ketamine treatments to become more accessible.

Christine has an extensive background in finance and accounting within the music industry, including e-commerce and fraud prevention, royalty reporting and auditing, and M&A activity.  Currently, she brings that experience and leadership to her role as CD Baby’s Chief Revenue Offer, where she is responsible for Business Development & Partnerships, Marketing, Product, and Trust & Safety. Christine has been at CD Baby for almost 18 YEARS, so when I met her during a roundtable at Music Biz 2023 in Nashville I knew I had to have her on the show!
